AIDA Ship Meeting in Hamburg

… and other highlights for AIDA’s 30th anniversary

AIDA started the countdown to their 30th company anniversary.

In 1996, the first cruise ship for AIDA entered service. The ship’s name: AIDA (later AIDAcara, now ASTORIA GRANDE). Since then, AIDA Cruises – now part of the Carnival Group – has grown steadily. The fleet currently consists of 11 ships: seven Sphinx-class ships, two Hyperion-class ships, and two Helios-class ships.

AIDA Cruises plan to celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2026 with many highlights. One of these will be an event cruise under the motto „Best of AIDA“ from Warnemünde on the AIDAdiva with numerous artists on board.

Another highlight will be a ship meeting in Hamburg on June 7, 2026. AIDAperla, AIDAsol, and AIDAprima will meet for a parade on the Elbe River.
