AIDAluna on the shipyard in Marseille
The cruise ship AIDAluna has been in dry dock at the Chantier Naval de Marseille shipyard since October 21st. There, she is undergoing extensive renovation and conversion as part of the AIDA Evolution program. The passenger cabins will be upgraded, and new bars and restaurants will be created. These include a Lanai Bar, a French Kiss Restaurant, a Yacht Club Buffet Restaurant, and an East Fusion Restaurant. A panoramic bar is being built directly below the bridge.

AIDAluna (IMO 9334868) was built in 2008/2009 at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg. She is 251.89 meters long and has a gross tonnage of 69,203. She has 1,025 passenger cabins.
