ASUKA III Arrived in Japan
Two ASUKA Rendezvous During the Transfer Voyage
At the beginning of June, the ASUKA III arrived in Japan after her transfer voyage from Europe. The journey, without passengers, took them via the Canary Islands, South Africa, and Singapore to Japan.
Special highlights of this transfer voyage included a rendezvous with the former ASUKA – now AMADEA – and another rendezvous with the ASUKA II. At the second rendezvous, the ASUKA II and ASUKA III sailed side by side near the island of St. Helena.
The maiden voyage of the ASUKA II, however, does not begin until July 20th.
