Marella Cruises, the British cruise line of TUI, sent two cruise ships into dry dock in November. The MARELLA VOYAGER (IMO 9106302) has been at Navantia in Cádiz, Spain, since November 6, and the MARELLA DISCOVERY (IMO 9070632) has been at Damen in Rotterdam since November 11. The purpose of the shipyard stays in both cases is routine maintenance and repair work as well as class inspections.
Kürzlich traf die CRYSTAL SYMPHONY auf der Werft Zincaf Riparazione e Bacini di Carenaggio Genova in Italien ein. Dort wurde das Schiff neben regulären Wartungsarbeiten auch innen umgestaltet. Das Atrium erhielt ein moderneres Layout und zusätzliche Sitzplätze. Darüber hinaus wurden einige große Gestaltungselemente ausgetauscht. U.a. wurde ein neuer Kronleuchter installiert.
Die CRYSTAL SYMPHONY (IMO 9066667) wurde 1994 / 1995 auf den Kværner Masa Yards im finnischen Turku gebaut. Sie ist 238 Meter lang und mit einer Bruttoraumzahl von 51.044 vermessen.
The CRYSTAL SYMPHONY recently arrived at the Zincaf Riparazione e Bacini di Carenaggio Genova, Italy. In addition to regular maintenance, the ship underwent an interior redesign.
The atrium was given a more modern layout and additional seating. Furthermore, several large design elements were replaced, including the installation of a new chandelier.
The CRYSTAL SYMPHONY (IMO 9066667) was built in 1994/1995 at the Kværner Masa Yards in Turku, Finland. She has a length of 238 meters and a gross tonnage of 51,044.

Aufenthalte an Bord sind möglich für mehrere Stunden bis zu einigen Tagen. Die WORLD LEGACY soll dauerhaft auf See liegen und mit per Passagierfähre ab Singapur sowie Johor (Malaysia) mit jeweils bis zu fünf Abfahrten pro Tag erreichbar sein.
Das Schiff hat bereits eine wechselvolle Geschichte hinter sich und fuhr unter verschiedenen Namen für verschiedene Reedereien:

The car and passenger ferry MOBY ZAZA, built in 1981/1982 at the Seebeck shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany, as the OLAU BRITANNIA (IMO 8020642), is currently being converted into a floating hotel. Singapore-based World Cruises previously purchased the ferry from the Italian company Moby Lines. The ship’s new name is WORLD LEGACY, which World Cruises is promoting as a „Floating Lifestyle Destination.“ She will offer 300 cabins and features amenities such as the Uncle Wu Café and the Orchard Pavilion. Stays on board can range from several hours to several days. The WORLD LEGACY will be permanently anchored at sea and accessible by passenger ferry from Singapore and Johor (Malaysia), with up to five departures per day from each port.
The ship has already had a varied history and sailed under different names for various shipping companies:

Die griechische Reederei Seajets hat ihre GODDESS OF THE NIGHT nach China verkauft. Käufer ist die Tianjin Orient International Cruise Line. Ersten Informationen zufolge soll der Cruise Liner in VISION umbenannt werden, andere Quellen nennen den Namen IDEAL.
Seajets hatte 2023 die COSTA MAGICA (IMO 9239795) von Costa Crociere erworben und im Jahr 2024 geplant, die GODDESS OF THE NIGHT unter der Marke Neonyx Cruises für Party-Kreuzfahrten in der Ägäis einzusetzen. Diese Pläne wurden jedoch nie umgesetzt.
Der Cruise Liner ist eines von fünf Schiffen der Destiny-Klasse der Carnival-Gruppe. Das Schiff war 2003 / 2004 bei Fincantieri in Sestri Ponente gebaut worden. Es ist 272,20 Meter lang und mit einer Bruttoraumzahl von 102.587 vermessen. An Bord haben etwa 3.470 Passagiere Platz.

The Greek shipping company Seajets has sold its GODDESS OF THE NIGHT to China. The buyer is Tianjin Orient International Cruise Line. According to initial reports, the cruise liner will be renamed VISION, while other sources mention the name IDEAL.
Seajets had acquired the COSTA MAGICA (IMO 9239795) from Costa Crociere in 2023 and planned to use the GODDESS OF THE NIGHT under the Neonyx Cruises brand for party cruises in the Aegean Sea in 2024. However, these plans were never implemented.
The cruise liner is one of five ships in the Carnival Group’s Destiny class. The ship was built in 2003/2004 at Fincantieri in Sestri Ponente. It is 272.20 meters long and has a gross tonnage of 102,587. It can accommodate approximately 3,470 passengers.

Am 2. Dezember soll der Cruise Liner wieder mit Passagieren in See stechen: auf eine dreitägige Kreuzfahrt zu den Weihnachtsmärkten in Brügge und Amsterdam.

The cruise ship AMBITION (IMO 9172777), operated by Ambassador Cruise Line, is currently undergoing maintenance in the dry dock of APCL A&P in Falmouth, UK. In addition to technical maintenance, the hull is being completely repainted. Furthermore, the guest areas are being upgraded, and guest cabins and restaurants are being renovated.
The cruise liner is scheduled to set sail again with passengers on December 2nd for a three-day cruise to the Christmas markets in Bruges and Amsterdam.

MSC CRUISES und die Werft Chantiers de l’Atlantique feierten am 12. November 2025 die nächsten Meilensteine der MSC-World-Class-Schiffe. MSC WORLD ASIA ist das erste Mal aufgeschwommen; sie soll 2026 fertiggestellt werden. Für das vierte Kreuzfahrtschiff dieser Baureihe, die MSC WORLD ATLANTIC wurde die Münzzeremonie und Kiellegung gefeiert. Am 10. November 2025 wurde Disney Cruises Lines‘ neuestes Kreuzfahrtschiff der Wish-Klasse, die DISNEY DESTINY, feierlich in Fort Lauderdale getauft.
Taufpatin war die US-amerikanische Schauspielerin, Sängerin und Tänzerin Susan Egan. Sie hatte große Bekanntheit erlangt durch ihre Rolle als Belle im Broadway-Musical Beauty and the Beast. Darüber hinaus hatte sie beispielsweise der Figur Megara im Zeichentrickfilm Herkules ihre Stimme verliehen.
Die Tauf-Party der DISNEY DESTINY, die auf der Meyer-Werft in Papenburg gebaut worden war, war geprägt von einer glanzvollen Show: einer Kombination aus Video-Projektionen und Drohnen-Show. Dabei spielte eine Band Musik aus den Disney-Produktionen Herkules, König der Löwen, Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean und Black Panther. Passend dazu wurde im Hintergrund die DISNEY DESTINY mit Video-Projektionen illuminiert, ergänzt durch eine Drohnen-Show im nächtlichen Himmel über dem Schiff.

On November 10, 2025, Disney Cruise Line’s newest Wish-class cruise ship DISNEY DESTINY was christened in a festive ceremony in Fort Lauderdale.
The ship’s godmother was American actress, singer, and dancer Susan Egan, best known for her role as Belle in the Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast. She also lent her voice to characters such as Megara in the animated film Hercules.
The christening celebration for the Disney Destiny, built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, featured a dazzling show: a combination of video projections and a drone display. A band performed music from Disney productions including Hercules, The Lion King, Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Black Panther. The Disney Destiny was illuminated with video projections in the background, complemented by a drone show in the night sky above the ship.
