COSTA FORTUNA becomes MARGARITAVILLE AT SEA BEACHCOMBER
Margaritaville Resorts, based in Orlando, Florida, are expanding their cruise fleet under their Margaritaville at Sea cruise brand by acquiring the COSTA FORTUNA from Costa Crociere. This ship, renamed MARGARITAVILLE AT SEA BEACHCOMBER, will become the new flagship of the Margaritaville at Sea cruise brand, increasing the fleet size from two to three ships.
The MARGARITAVILLE AT SEA BEACHCOMBER (formerly COSTA FORTUNA) was built in 2002/2003, is 272.2 meters long, has a gross tonnage of 103,500 tons, and can accommodate up to 3,470 passengers. Delivery of the ship is scheduled for 2026.
The design of the fleet’s newest and largest ship is inspired by its sister ships, the MARGARITAVILLE AT SEA ISLANDER and the MARGARITAVILLE AT SEA PARADISE. It combines airy blues, sun-drenched yellows, and warm beachy tones to create a carefree and relaxed style that, according to Martha Brabham, Head of Design, captures „fun, warmth, and laid-back adventure.“
Aboard the MARGARITAVILLE AT SEA BEACHCOMBER, guests can enjoy familiar favorites such as „5 o’Clock Somewhere,“ „Hemisphere Dancer,“ „Cheeseburger in Paradise,“ and „License to Chill,“ complemented by over 15 brand-new experiences.
