CRYSTAL GRACE First Steel Cut

Marghera, Italy – Crystal Cruises has reached a significant milestone: with the ceremonial first steel-cutting at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy, construction of the CRYSTAL GRACE has officially begun. The luxury cruise line’s new ocean-going vessel is scheduled for delivery in May 2028.

The CRYSTAL GRACE marks a pivotal moment in the company’s history, blending Crystal’s proven heritage with state-of-the-art design.

A New Highlight in the Luxury Segment: Upon her completion, the CRYSTAL GRACE is set to set new benchmarks in the cruise market. Key features of the ship include:

•             Exclusivity: The introduction of the very first „Owner’s Suite“ in the cruise line’s history.

•             World-Class Cuisine: Partnerships with renowned luminaries such as Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, as well as Michelin-starred chefs Massimiliano and Raffaele Alajmo.

•             Entertainment: A premier, Broadway-style entertainment program.

•             Atmosphere of Well-being: One of the best staff-to-guest ratios, as well as space-to-guest ratios, within the luxury segment.

•             Experiential Travel: Curated itineraries designed to foster a deeper connection with the destinations visited.

The partnership between Crystal Cruises and Fincantieri is further strengthened by this project. Luigi Matarazzo, General Manager of the Merchant Ships Division at Fincantieri, emphasized the long-standing foundation of trust and the shared pursuit of excellence.

Maiden Voyage in June 2028: The CRYSTAL GRACE is scheduled to embark on her maiden voyage on June 11, 2028. This eight-day journey will travel from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Fusina (Venice).
