Die französische Kreuzfahrtgesellschaft Ponant ist nun die erste, die eine komplette Antarktis-Umrundung anbietet. Unter dem Kommando von Capt. Etienne Garcia und Capt. Patrick Marchesseau geht es mit dem Schiff LE COMMANDANT CHARCOT einmal rund um den weißen Kontinent. Die beiden Kapitäne haben diese Reise auch konzipiert. Sie startet und endet in Ushuaia, Argentinien. Wer nur die halbe Runde mitfahren möchte, kann in Hobart (Tasmanien) aussteigen oder aufsteigen. Die Reise findet Januar bis März 2028 statt.

First Complete Antarctic Circumnavigation Cruise

The French cruise company Ponant is now the first to offer a complete Antarctic circumnavigation. Under the command of Captains Etienne Garcia and Patrick Marchesseau, the ship LE COMMANDANT CHARCOT will travel all the way around the white continent. The two captains also designed this voyage.
