ICON OF THE SEAS: ein Schiff für fast 10.000 Menschen

Am 8. Dezember hat die ICON OF THE SEAS  (IMO 9829930) das Baudock bei Meyer Turku in Finnland verlassen und wurde an den Ausrüstungskai verlegt. Damit wurde ein weiterer Meilenstein innerhalb der Bauphasen des größten Kreuzfahrtschiffs der Welt erreicht.

Die ICON OF THE SEAS soll bis Januar 2024 fertig gestellt werden. Mit einer Bruttoraumzahl von 250.800 und einer Länge von 365 Metern wird sie das größte Kreuzfahrtschiff der Welt werden. Sie wird Platz für bis zu 7.600 Passagiere und 2.350 Besatzungsmitglieder haben.

ICON OF THE SEAS: a ship for almost 10,000 people

On December 8th, the ICON OF THE SEAS (IMO 9829930) was floated out from the construction dock at Meyer Turku in Finland and was transferred to the outfitting quay. This marks another milestone in the construction phase of the world’s largest cruise ship.

The ICON OF THE SEAS is scheduled to be completed by January 2024. With a gross tonnage of 250,800 and a length of 365 meters, she will be the largest cruise ship in the world. She will have space for up to 7,600 passengers and 2,350 crew members.
