The cruise ship AMBITION (IMO 9172777), operated by Ambassador Cruise Line, is currently undergoing maintenance in the dry dock of APCL A&P in Falmouth, UK. In addition to technical maintenance, the hull is being completely repainted. Furthermore, the guest areas are being upgraded, and guest cabins and restaurants are being renovated.
The cruise liner is scheduled to set sail again with passengers on December 2nd for a three-day cruise to the Christmas markets in Bruges and Amsterdam.
The AMBITION was built between 1997 and 1999 at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire as the MISTRAL for the Greek company Festival Cruises. She is 216 meters long and has a gross tonnage of 48,123. She can accommodate 1,727 passengers.
