On November 25, 2025, the cruise ship COSTA SMERALDA (IMO 9781889) arrived at the Chantier de Marseille shipyard for maintenance. She is now in dry dock next to the AIDAluna, which is undergoing an overhaul and refit in the adjacent dock.

COSTA SMERALDA is an Excellence-class cruise ship. Built in 2018/2019 at Meyer Turku, she is 337 meters long, has a gross tonnage of 185,010, and can accommodate approximately 6,550 passengers at maximum capacity.
