MARDI GRAS on the shipyard in Marseille

The MARDI GRAS, Carnival Cruise Lines‘ first Excel-class ship, arrived at the Chantier Naval de Marseille shipyard on September 28th. She was placed in dry dock for routine maintenance and class inspections.

The MARDI GRAS (IMO 9837444) was built by Meyer Turku in 2019/2020. She is 344 meters long and has a gross tonnage of 181,808 tons. She has 18 passenger decks and can accommodate approximately 6,300 passengers in 2,641 cabins.
