STAR SEEKER Christened in Miami
Explorer-Class Ship for Windstar Cruises
On January 15, 2026, the cruise ship STAR SEEKER (IMO 9904819), the newest member of the Windstar Cruises fleet, was christened in Miami. Godmother Libby Anschutz, daughter of Windstar Cruises owner Phil Anschutz, christened the ship in the traditional manner by smashing a bottle of champagne against its bow.
Following the naming ceremony, the STAR SEEKER started to an eight-day cruise from Miami to San Juan, with stops in the Dominican Republic and the British Virgin Islands.
The STAR SEEKER is designed for 224 passengers in 112 cabins. She is the fifth ship in the Explorer class.
