AIDAcosma: Fertigstellung deutlich verzögert.
Jungfernfahrt im Dezember findet nicht wie geplant statt
Die AIDAcosma wird nicht wie geplant bis Dezember fertiggestellt. Damit kann die für Ende Dezember geplante Jungfernfahrt nicht stattfinden. Die von der AIDAcosma durchzuführenden Reisen werden stattdessen vom Schwesterschiff AIDAnova übernommen (welche vor drei Jahren auch nicht rechtzeitig fertig wurde). Da die AIDAnova die kommende Winter-Saison auf den Kanaren verbringt, wird die AIDAbella für die Orient-Kreuzfahrten eingesetzt, die ursprünglich von der AIDAnova durchgeführt werden sollten.
Bevor die AIDAnova am 22. Dezember zur Weihnachts- und Silvester-Kreuzfahrt von Hamburg aus startet, unternimmt sie am 14. Und 19. Dezember noch zwei Kurz-Kreuzfahrten ab Hamburg, die kurzfristig neu ins Programm genommen wurden.
Die AIDAcosma, welche bereits vor einigen Wochen ausgedockt wurde, wartet in Papenburg nun auf die Ems-Überführung zur Nordsee.
AIDAcosma: Completion significantly delayed.
Maiden voyage in December will not take place as planned
The AIDAcosma will not be completed by December as planned. This means that the maiden voyage planned for the end of December cannot take place. The voyages to be carried out by AIDAcosma will instead be taken over by the sister ship AIDAnova (which even was not completed on time three years ago). Since the AIDAnova will be spending the coming winter season in the Canary Islands, the AIDAbella will be used for the Orient cruises that were originally intended to be carried out by the AIDAnova.
Before the AIDAnova starts her Christmas and New Year’s Eve cruise from Hamburg on December 22nd, she is going to undertake two short cruises from Hamburg on December 14th and 19th, which have been added to the program at short notice.
The AIDAcosma, which was floated a few weeks ago at Meyer yard, is now waiting in Papenburg for the river Ems transit to the North Sea.
