Film-Diva Sophia Loren erneut Taufpatin

Am 8. Juni fand in Kopenhagen die feierliche Taufe der MSC EURIBIA statt. Durch den Abend führte die dänische Schauspielerin und Fernseh-Moderatorin Sarah Grünewald. Getauft wurde der neue, im französischen Saint Nazaire gebaute Cruise Liner von Film-Diva Sophia Loren.

Die MSC EURIBIA (IMO 9901544) ist nicht nur das zweite LNG-betriebene Kreuzfahrtschiff der MSC Cruises, MSC möchte mit diesem Schiff auch Maßstäbe setzen. Laut Angaben von MSC ist die MSC EURIBIA derzeit das Kreuzfahrtschiff mit dem energie-effizientestem Design. Die Reise von der Bauwerft in Frankreich nach Kopenhagen hatte die MSC EURIBIA mit Bio-LNG absolviert.

Der Tauf-Abend wurde gefeiert mit Show-Einlagen, einem Gourmet-Gala-Dinner sowie einem spektakulären Auftritt des französischen DJ Bob Sinclair.

In ihrer Auftakt-Saison wird die MSC EURIBIA für Kreuzfahrten in die norwegischen Fjorde eingesetzt. Kiel und Kopenhagen sind dabei die Starthäfen.

Film Diva Sophia Loren Godmother again

On June 8th, the ceremonial naming ceremony of the MSC EURIBIA took place in Copenhagen. The Danish actress and TV presenter Sarah Grünewald moderated the evening. The new cruise liner built in Saint Nazaire, France, was christened by film diva Sophia Loren.

The MSC EURIBIA (IMO 9901544) is not only the second LNG-powered cruise ship from MSC Cruises, MSC also wants to set standards with this ship. According to MSC, the MSC EURIBIA is currently the cruise ship with the most energy-efficient design. MSC EURIBIA completed the voyage from the shipyard in France to Copenhagen with Bio LNG.

The christening evening was celebrated with shows, a gourmet gala dinner and a spectacular performance by French DJ Bob Sinclair.

In her inaugural season, the MSC EURIBIA will be deployed for cruises to the Norwegian fjords. Kiel and Copenhagen are the starting ports.
