Margaritaville Resorts mit Sitz in Orlando, Florida,  übernehmen mit ihrer Kreuzfahrtmarke Margaritaville at Sea die COSTA FORTUNA von Costa Crociere. Damit wird die Flottengröße von zwei auf drei Schiffe gesteigert. Der Neuzugang wird dann auch das Flaggschiff der Flotte.

Die COSTA FORTUNA (IMO 9239783) ist mit 103.500 gross tons vermessen, sie ist 272,2 Meter lang und hat Platz für bis zu 3.470 Passagiere. Sie wurde 2002 / 2003 bei Fincantieri in Palermo und Genua gebaut.

Die Übergabe des Schiffs ist für 2026 vorgesehen.

Margaritaville Resorts, based in Orlando, Florida, are acquiring the COSTA FORTUNA from Costa Crociere for their brand Margaritaville at Sea. This will increase their fleet size from two to three ships. The new addition will also become the flagship of the fleet.

The COSTA FORTUNA (IMO 9239783) has a tonnage of 103,500 gross tons, is 272.2 meters long, and can accommodate up to 3,470 passengers. She was built in 2002/2003 by Fincantieri in Palermo and Genoa.

Delivery of the ship is scheduled for 2026.
