MARELLA CELEBRATION wird verschrottet
Bereits im April dieses Jahres hatten die zur TUI-Gruppe gehörenden Marella Cruises angekündigt, sich von ihrer MARELLA CELEBRATION (IMO 8027298) trennen zu wollen. Nun wurde bekannt, dass das schnittige Kreuzfahrtschiff an eine Abwrackwerft im türkischen Aliaga verkauft wurde. Es wurde bereits in MARE C umbenannt.
Der Cruise Liner wurde 1984 bei den Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint Nazaire als NOORDAM für Holland America Line gebaut.
MARELLA CELEBRATION will be scrapped
In April of this year, Marella Cruises, part of the TUI Group, announced that they intended to get rid of their MARELLA CELEBRATION (IMO 8027298). It has now been announced that the sleek cruise ship has been sold to a scrapping yard in Aliaga, Turkey. She has been renamed MARE C meanwhile.
The Cruise Liner was built in 1984 by the Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint Nazaire as NOORDAM for Holland America Line.
