Die griechische Reederei Seajets hat ihre GODDESS OF THE NIGHT nach China verkauft. Käufer ist die Tianjin Orient International Cruise Line. Ersten Informationen zufolge soll der Cruise Liner in VISION umbenannt werden, andere Quellen nennen den Namen IDEAL.
Seajets hatte 2023 die COSTA MAGICA (IMO 9239795) von Costa Crociere erworben und im Jahr 2024 geplant, die GODDESS OF THE NIGHT unter der Marke Neonyx Cruises für Party-Kreuzfahrten in der Ägäis einzusetzen. Diese Pläne wurden jedoch nie umgesetzt.
Der Cruise Liner ist eines von fünf Schiffen der Destiny-Klasse der Carnival-Gruppe. Das Schiff war 2003 / 2004 bei Fincantieri in Sestri Ponente gebaut worden. Es ist 272,20 Meter lang und mit einer Bruttoraumzahl von 102.587 vermessen. An Bord haben etwa 3.470 Passagiere Platz.
The Greek shipping company Seajets has sold its GODDESS OF THE NIGHT to China. The buyer is Tianjin Orient International Cruise Line. According to initial reports, the cruise liner will be renamed VISION, while other sources mention the name IDEAL.
Seajets had acquired the COSTA MAGICA (IMO 9239795) from Costa Crociere in 2023 and planned to use the GODDESS OF THE NIGHT under the Neonyx Cruises brand for party cruises in the Aegean Sea in 2024. However, these plans were never implemented.
The cruise liner is one of five ships in the Carnival Group’s Destiny class. The ship was built in 2003/2004 at Fincantieri in Sestri Ponente. It is 272.20 meters long and has a gross tonnage of 102,587. It can accommodate approximately 3,470 passengers.

Mit der GODDESS OF THE NIGHT (ex COSTA MAGICA, IMO 9239795) sollen Adult Only Cruises angeboten werden, die im Zeichen von Partys an Bord stehen sollen. Losgehen sollte es ursprünglich in diesem Sommer. Offenbar gibt es aber Verzögerungen beim Umbau des Schiffs.
Vor einigen Wochen war die GODDESS OF THE NIGHT an italienische Behörden zur Unterbringung von Sicherheitskräften im Rahmen des G7-Treffens in Brindisi verchartert worden. Das Schiff wurde jedoch vor Ort in derart schlechtem Zustand vorgefunden, dass die italienischen Behörden das Kreuzfahrtschiff arrestierten.

The Greek cruise start-up Neonyx Cruises, a brand of the ferry company Seajets, has postponed its launch by one year to summer 2025. The GODDESS OF THE NIGHT (ex COSTA MAGICA, IMO 9239795) will offer adult-only cruises with parties on board. It was originally supposed to start this summer. But there are apparently delays in the conversion of the ship.
A few weeks ago, the GODDESS OF THE NIGHT was chartered to Italian authorities to accommodate security forces during the G7 meeting in Brindisi. However, the ship was found on site in such poor condition that the Italian authorities arrested the cruise ship.
Neonyx Cruises haben offiziell den Starttermin für die GODDESS OF THE NIGHT angekündigt und nähere Details enthüllt. Am 15. Juli wird der modernisierte Cruise Liner mit Kreuzfahrten im östlichen Mittelmeer beginnen. Angeboten werden 3- und 4-Nächte-Kreuzfahrten zu den Kykladen Es handelt sich um Kreuzfahrten nur für Erwachsene. Neonyx Cruises, eine Marke von Seajets, kündigen dazu ein neues Konzept an, das Premium-Kreuzfahrt-Feeling mit außergewöhnlichem Unterhaltungsprogramm kombinieren soll. Nach Angaben des Reise-Anbieters sollen auf jeder Kreuzfahrt 7 bis 10 internationale DJ’s auflegen – Party von Sonnenuntergang bis Sonnenaufgang!
Zur Auswahl sollen mehr als 50 unterschiedliche Routen stehen. Dabei kann zwischen Piräus, Mykonos und Cesme als Starthafen gewählt werden.
Übrigens: Vor ihrem Einsatz als Kreuzfahrtschiff wird die GODDESS OF THE NIGHT (ex COSTA MAGICA) ab 9. Juni für einige Tage für das G7-Meeting in Italien als Hotel-Schiff für Sicherheitskräfte dienen.
GODDESS OF THE NIGHT to start on July 15th
On more than 50 routes in the Eastern Mediterranean
Neonyx Cruises have officially announced the start date for the GODDESS OF THE NIGHT and revealed further details. On July 15th, the modernized cruise liner will begin cruises in the eastern Mediterranean. 3- and 4-night cruises to the Cyclades will be offered. These are adults only cruises. Neonyx Cruises, a Seajets brand, are announcing a new concept that will combine a premium cruise feeling with an exceptional entertainment program. According to the travel provider, 7 to 10 international DJs will play on each cruise – Party from sunset to sunrise!
There will be more than 50 different routes to choose from. You can choose between Piraeus, Mykonos and Cesme as the starting port.
By the way: Before her start as cruise ship, the GODDESS OF THE NIGHT (ex COSTA MAGICA) will serve as a floating hotel for security forces for a few days starting on June 9th for the G7 meeting in Italy.
