GENTING DREAM kommt wieder in Fahrt
Erstes Schiff aus der Genting-Gruppe, das nach dem Konkurs wieder in Dienst gestellt wird
Die neu gegründeten Resorts World Cruises werden am 15. Juni 2022 mit der GENTING DREAM (IMO 9733105) ihre erste Kreuzfahrt aufnehmen. Resorts World Cruises sind ein Ableger der Hotel-Gruppe Resorts World. Diese gehört der Familie Lim, die auch Eigner und Betreiber der in Konkurs gegangenen Genting-Gruppe war. Resorts World Cruises chartern das Kreuzfahrtschiff von einem Banken-Konsortium.
Angeboten werden zunächst – bis September – 2- und 3-Nächte-Kreuzfahrten ab Singapur. Es ist geplant, ab September 2022 auch längere Kreuzfahrten mit Anläufen in anderen Häfen durchzuführen.
Die GENTING DREAM (雲頂夢號) wurde 2016 auf der Meyer-Werft in Papenburg gebaut. Sie ist 335,35 Meter lang und mit einer Bruttoraumzahl von 151.300 vermessen.

The newly founded Resorts World Cruises will start their first cruise on June 15, 2022 with the GENTING DREAM (IMO 9733105). Resorts World Cruises is an offshoot of the Resorts World hotel group. This belongs to the Lim family, who also owned and operated the Genting Group, which went bankrupt. Resorts World Cruises is chartering the cruise ship from a consortium of banks.
Initially – until September – 2 and 3-night cruises starting at Singapore will be offered. It is planned to also carry out longer cruises with calls in other ports from September 2022.
The GENTING DREAM (雲頂夢號) was built in 2016 by Meyer shipyard in Papenburg. She is 335.35 meters long and measured with a gross tonnage of 151,300.
