Erstes Schiff der InTUItion-Klasse
Am Freitag, den 07. Feburar 2025, wurde die MEIN SCHIFF RELAX (IMO 9862657) von der Fincantieri-Werft im italienischen Monfalcone an TUI Cruises übergeben. Sie ist das erste Schiff der InTUItion-Klasse. An der Übergabe-Zeremonie nahmen u.a. teil:
Wybcke Meier, CEO TUI Cruises, Frank Kuhlmann, CFO TUI Cruises, Cristiano Bazzana, Direktor Fincantieri, Biago Mazzotta, Vorstandsvorsitzender Fincantieri, Pierroberto Folgiero, Geschäftsführer Fincantieri sowie Luigi Matarazzo, Generaldirektor Fincantieri Merchants Ships Division.
Die MEIN SCHIFF RELAX ist mit Dual-Fuel-Motoren ausgestattet. Sie wird mit LNG betrieben und kann perspektivisch auf Bio- und E-LNG-Betrieb umgestellt werden. Außerdem verfügt das Schiff über einen Landstromanschluss.
Auch im Gästebereich dürfen sich die Passagiere auf zahlreiche Neuerungen und modernes Design freuen.
Die Taufe wird am 9. April in Malaga stattfinden

On Friday, February 7, 2025, the MEIN SCHIFF RELAX (IMO 9862657) was handed over to TUI Cruises by the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. She is the first ship in the InTUItion class. The handover ceremony was attended by, among others:
Wybcke Meier, CEO TUI Cruises, Frank Kuhlmann, CFO TUI Cruises, Cristiano Bazzana, Director Fincantieri, Biago Mazzotta, Chairman of the Board Fincantieri, Pierroberto Folgiero, Managing Director Fincantieri and Luigi Matarazzo, General Director Fincantieri Merchants Ships Division.
MEIN SCHIFF RELAX is equipped with dual-fuel engines. She is powered by LNG and can be converted to bio and e-LNG operation in the future. The ship also has a shore power connection.
Passengers can also look forward to numerous innovations and modern design in the guest area.
The christening will take place on April 9 in Malaga
