The Christening of ASUKA III

On July 11, 2025, the ASUKA III was christened at the Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal in Yokohama. Godmother was Tamiko Soga, wife of Takaya Soga, President of NYK. The ceremony included the traditional smashing of a champagne bottle against the bow of the ship. The celebration took place in the Lumière Theater on board.

The ASUKA II was moored at the terminal at the same time. Non-invited guests had the opportunity to view the christening ceremony from the park on the roof of the cruise terminal.
