Cruises to the Caribbean and Mediterranean Available for Booking
Mexico-based VidantaWorld is bringing the ELEGANT (IMO 8709573; ex ALEXANDER VON HUMBOLDT, ex CROWN MONARCH, among others) back to sea.
Starting in December 2025 and throughout the winter, 7-day cruises to the Caribbean will be offered, departing from Philipsburg, Sint Maarten.
Cruises to the Azores and Madeira will follow in April 2026, before the ELEGANT moves to the Mediterranean for the 2026 summer season. Seven-day cruises with numerous ports in the Western and Eastern Mediterranean are available for booking there.
For the winter of 2026/2027, the ELEGANT will then return to the Caribbean.
Built by Union Naval de Levante in Spain from 1988 to 1990, the cruise ship has undergone several ownership changes and sailed the seas under various names. Originally built as the CROWN MONARCH for Commodore Cruise Line, she is 152.50 meters long and has a gross tonnage of 15,595 tons. She can accommodate 298 passengers.
