VICTORY II Christened in Chicago

The christening of the VICTORY II took place in Chicago on May 12th. Godmother was Molly Applegate, granddaughter of Victory Cruise Lines founder John Wagoner. The christening was held in the Compass Lounge of the VICTORY II. After singing of the hymns of the USA and Canada the highlight of the ceremony was the moment when Molly Applegate smashed a bottle of bourbon on the bow of the cruise ship.

Just a few days earlier, the sister ship VICTORY I had been christened in Toronto.

Victory Cruise Lines specializes in cruises on the Great Lakes and along the Canadian coast.
