Die US-amerikanische Reederei SunStone Ships haben mit der OCEAN EXPLORER (IMO 9883194) ihr nächstes Schiff der Infinity-Klasse von der Bauwerft China Merchants Heavy Industries in Haimen übernommen. Das Expeditionskreuzfahrtschiff mit einer Bruttoraumzahl von 8035 ist 104,40 Meter lang und für 170 Passagiere in 77 Kabinen ausgelegt. Es handelt sich bei dem Cruise Liner um ein Schiff mit innovativem X-Bow. Charterer der OCEAN EXPLORER ist Vantage Cruise Line.
Typschiff der Infinity-Klasse ist die im September 2019 für Aurora Expeditions abgelieferte GREG MORTIMER (IMO 9834648). In diesem Jahr sollen mit der OCEAN VICTORY (IMO 9868869) und SYLIVA EARLE (IMO 9872327) noch zwei weitere Schiffe der Infinity-Klasse abgeliefert werden.

SunStone Ships have taken over their next Infinity class ship, the OCEAN EXPLORER (IMO 9883194), from the shipyard China Merchants Heavy Industries in Haimen. The expedition cruise ship with a gross tonnage of 8035 is 104.40 meters long and designed for 170 passengers in 77 cabins. The Cruise Liner is a ship with an innovative X-Bow. OCEAN EXPLORER’s charterer is Vantage Cruise Line.
The first completed Infinity class ship was the GREG MORTIMER (IMO 9834648), which was delivered in September 2019 for Aurora Expeditions. This year, with the OCEAN VICTORY (IMO 9868869) and SYLIVA EARLE (IMO 9872327), two more Infinity class ships are to be delivered.
