Zwei neue Schiffe für Paul Gauguin Cruises

Nachdem die französische Luxus-Kreuzfahrtgesellschaft Ponant vor wenigen Monaten Paul Gauguin Cruises übernommen hatte, wurde nun bekannt gegeben, dass man für letztere zwei neue Schiffe bauen lassen will. Den Auftrag dazu erhält Fincantieri. Die Schiffe sollen auf den zu Fincantieri gehörenden VARD-Werften entstehen und sollen Weiterentwicklungen der Explorer-Klasse von Ponant sein. Die vorgesehene Größenordnung der Schiffe für Paul Gauguin Cruises liegt bei 11.000 gross tons und 230 Passagiere je Einheit.

Two new ships for Paul Gauguin Cruises

After take over of Paul Gauguin Cruises by French luxury cruise company Ponant a few months ago, it was now announced that they intend to build two new ships for Paul Gauguin. The order will be given to Fincantieri. The ships are going to be constructed on VARD shipyards, subsidiary of Fincantieri,  and will be evolutions of the Explorer class of Ponant. The planned size of the ships for Paul Gauguin Cruises is 11,000 tons and 230 passengers per unit.
