Die zur Carnival-Gruppe gehörenden Seabourn Cruise Lines verkaufen ihre 2009 gebaute SEABOURN ODYSSEY an die japanischen Mitsui O.S.K. Lines. Bis August 2024 wird Seabourn den Cruise Liner zunächst zurück-chartern, um die bis dahin geplanten Reisen durchzuführen.

Nach Übergabe des Schiffs im September 2014 wollen Mitsui O.S.K. Lines zukünftig mit zwei Kreuzfahrtschiffen operieren. Sie betreiben derzeit die NIPPON MARU (IMO 8817631).

Die SEABOURN ODYSSEY (IMO 9417086) wurde ab 2007 auf der Cimolai-Werft (CIMAR) in San Giorgio di Nogaro und auf der T. Mariotti-Werft in Genua gebaut und 2009 fertig gestellt. Das 198,19 Meter lange Kreuzfahrtschiff ist mit einer Bruttoraumzahl von 32.346 vermessen und für 450 Passagiere ausgelegt.

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines taking over SEABOURN ODYSSEY

Seabourn Cruise Lines, part of the Carnival Group, are selling their 2009 built SEABOURN ODYSSEY to the Japanese Mitsui O.S.K. lines. Seabourn will charter the cruise liner back until August 2024, in order to carry out the voyages planned until then.

After handing over the ship in September 2014, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines will operate with two cruise ships in the future. They currently operate the NIPPON MARU (IMO 8817631).

The SEABOURN ODYSSEY (IMO 9417086) was built from 2007 at the Cimolai shipyard (CIMAR) in San Giorgio di Nogaro and at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa and was completed in 2009. The 198.19 meter long cruise ship has a gross tonnage of 32,346 and is designed for 450 passengers.
