Asuka Cruises bestellen Kreuzfahrtschiff – NICHT der erste Auftrag seit der Pandemie
Die Meyer-Werft in Papenburg und die japanische NYK-Gruppe überraschen mit der Nachricht zur Bestellung eines Kreuzfahrtschiff-Neubaus!
Dabei handelt es sich mit einer Länge von 229 Metern und einer Vermessung von 51.950 gross tons um ein Kreuzfahrtschiff mittlerer Größe. Das Schiff soll Platz für 744 Passagiere in 385 Kabinen bieten. Der Cruise Liner soll einen modernen LNG-Antrieb erhalten. Die Ablieferung des Kreuzfahrtschiffs an Asuka Cruises, einer Marke von NYK, ist für 2025 vorgesehen.
Die Meyer-Werft und daraufhin auch verschiedene Medien und Blogs berichten von der weltweit ersten Kreuzfahrtschiff-Bestellung seit Ausbruch der Pandemie. Das ist allerdings nicht ganz zutreffend, denn Swan Hellenic haben im Oktober 2020 einen weiteren Cruise Liner bei der Helsinki Shipyard bestellt.

Asuka Cruises ordering new cruise ship
The Meyer shipyard in Papenburg and the Japanese NYK Group are surprising with the news o an order for a new cruise ship! With a length of 229 meters and a measurement of 51,950 gross tons, it will be a medium-sized cruise ship. The ship will offer space for 744 passengers in 385 cabins. The cruise liner is to be equipped with a modern LNG propulsion system. Delivery of the cruise ship to Asuka Cruises, an NYK brand, is scheduled for 2025.
Meyer-Werft and then various media and blogs are reporting about the world’s first cruise ship order since the outbreak of the pandemic. This is not entirely true, however, because Swan Hellenic ordered another cruise liner from Helsinki Shipyard in October 2020.
