Am 12.12.2023 haben NYK Cruises und die Meyer-Werft in Papenburg gemeinsam die Kiellegung der ASUKA III gefeiert. Das Herabsetzen des ersten Stahlblocks ins Baudock I in Halle 5 auf der Meyer-Werft markierte den Start zum Bau des Schiffskörpers.

Die ASUKA III (IMO 9936355) wird bei Fertigstellung mit einer Bruttoraumzahl von 52.000 vermessen sein. Ihre Länge wir 230,20 Meter betragen.

Keel Laying for ASUKA III in Papenburg, Germany

On December 12, 2023, NYK Cruises and the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, celebrated the keel laying of the ASUKA III. The lowering of the first steel block into construction dock I in Hall 5 at the Meyer shipyard marked the start of construction of the hull.

The ASUKA III (IMO 9936355) will have a gross tonnage of 52,000 when completed. Her length will be 230.20 meters.

Brennstart auf der Meyer-Werft

Mit dem Brennstart für die ASUKA III wurde am 25.September 2023 auf der Meyer-Werft der Baubeginn für das neue Kreuzfahrtschiff für NYK Cruises gefeiert.

Die ASUKA III wird 230 Meter lang und mit einer Bruttoraumzahl von 52.200 vermessen sein. Sie soll Platz für 744 Passagiere bieten. Die Ablieferung ist für 2025 geplant.

Bei der feierlichen Zeremonie in Papenburg war u.a. auch der Präsident von NYK Cruises, Hiroyuki Endo, dabei.

The construction start for the new cruise ship ASUKA III for NYK Cruises was celebrated on September 25, 2023 at the Meyer shipyard.

The ASUKA III will be 230 meters long and measured with a gross tonnage of 52,200. She will have a passenger capacity of 744. Delivery is planned for 2025.

Even the President of NYK Cruises, Hiroyuki Endo, attended the ceremony in Papenburg.
