Aus AIDAaura wird CELESTYAL DISCOVERY
Celestyal Cruises übernehmen Kreuzfahrtschiff von AIDA Cruises
Die zypriotische Kreuzfahrtgesellschaft Celestyal Cruises übernimmt die AIDAaura (IMO 9221566) von AIDA Cruises. Das Kreuzfahrtschiff erhält den neuen Namen CELESTYAL DISCOVERY und soll vermutlich die CELESTYAL OLYMPIA ersetzen.
Zuvor war von AIDA ein Verkauf an Miray Cruises zum Einsatz für eine dreijährige weltumrundende Kreuzfahrt angepeilt worden, welche aber an mangelnden finanziellen Mitteln des Käufers gescheitert war.

The Cypriot cruise company Celestyal Cruises takes over the AIDAaura (IMO 9221566) from AIDA Cruises. The cruise ship will be renamed CELESTYAL DISCOVERY and will probably replace the CELESTYAL OLYMPIA.
AIDA had previously planned to sell the cruise ship to Miray Cruises for a three-year round-the-world cruise, but this failed due to the buyer’s lack of financial resources.
