Residence Ship Project for a 3-year World Voyage

According to their own information, Villa Vie Residences took over the BRAEMAR (IMO 9000699) from Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines last weekend. The cruise ship, which was built in 1991 and last laid up in Edinburgh, Scotland, is soon to receive a comprehensive refresh in Belfast before it sets off on a three-year voyage around the world in May under the new name VILLA VIE ODYSSEY as a residence ship.

The cruise liner was constructed by Union Laval de Levante in Valencia, Spain, from 1991 to 1993 as CROWN DYNASTY and stretched by 32 meters in 2008 by Blohm + Voss in Hamburg for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines . Since then, the ship has a length of 195.82 meters with a gross tonnage of 24,344.
