Royal Caribbean stellt nächsten Mega-Liner vor
Derzeit in Bau auf den Chantiers de l’Atlantique im französischen Saint Nazaire: die UTOPIA OF THE SEAS für Royal Caribbean Cruises. Sie wird das sechste Schiff der Oasis-Klasse. Im Juli 2024 soll die UTOPIA OF THE SEAS an den Start gehen. Konzipiert für Kreuzfahrten, bei denen nicht mehr die Destinationen, sondern das Schiff im Vordergrund steht, soll sie dann für 3- und 4-Nächte-Kreuzfahrten ab Port Canaveral eingesetzt werden.
Und das wird an Bord geboten werden:
Pooltage für jede Stimmung
Ob Tage am Pool oder am Strand – auf dem ultimativen Kurzurlaub ist beides zu finden. Ergänzt durch die Pools und Sandstrände am Perfect Day in CocoCay reicht die Atmosphäre in den fünf Pools der UTOPIA von fröhlich bis zurückhaltend:
Solarium – Der ruhige Rückzugsort ist der Ort, an dem sich Erwachsene in einem eigenen Pool und Whirlpools erholen können, komplett mit Bar, Tagesbetten, Panoramablick auf das Meer und dem Solarium Bistro.
Suite-Sonnendeck – Versteckt im exklusiven Suite-Viertel bietet der Pool einen Blick aus der Vogelperspektive auf das Meer in einer privaten Oase mit Sonnenliegen, Liegestühlen, Sonnenschirmen und mehr.
Um die Urlaubserinnerungen abzurunden, finden Urlauber hinter jeder Ecke die Möglichkeit, in einen rekordverdächtigen Nervenkitzel eintauchen. Vom adrenalingeladensten Ultimate Abyss aller Zeiten, jetzt noch länger als auf den Schwesterschiffen, über eine 10 Stockwerke hohe Seilrutsche (Zip Line) bis zum charakteristischen FlowRider-Surfsimulator und Minigolf bei den AquaDunes, schließlich auch Utopia Playscape für kleine Kinder – es gibt Abenteuer für alle an Bord.

Izumi, das japanische Restaurant
Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar – Die neu gestaltete Lieblingsbar mit authentischen italienischen Gerichten erstreckt sich jetzt über zwei Stockwerke und erstreckt sich bis zur neuen Außenterrasse – Gio’s Terrazza – mit Blick auf die charakteristische Promenade.
Weitere bekannte Favoriten sind The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar, wo Live-Country-Musik die Südstaaten-Klassiker ergänzt; das Windjammer bietet Hunderte von Gerichten und Geschmacksrichtungen zum Frühstück, Brunch, Mittag- und Abendessen – alle inspiriert von den internationalen Köchen von Royal Caribbean; Hooked Seafood; und Chops Grille.
Darüber hinaus wird der Gast an Bord tolle Bars, das Casino Royale, das Royal Theater sowie das AquaTheater vorfinden.

Royal Caribbean unveils next mega liner
Currently under construction on the Chantiers de l’Atlantique Shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France: the UTOPIA OF THE SEAS for Royal Caribbean Cruises. She will be the sixth Oasis class ship. The UTOPIA OF THE SEAS is scheduled to have her kick-off in July 2024. Designed for cruises that no longer focus on the destination but on the ship, she will be deployed for 3 and 4-night cruises from Port Canaveral.
And this will be offered on board:
Pool days for every mood
Whether days by the pool or at the beach – both can be found on the ultimate getaway. Supplemented by the pools and sandy beaches on Perfect Day in CocoCay, the atmosphere in the five pools of UTOPIA ranges from cheerful to reserved:
Solarium – The tranquil retreat is where adults can relax in a private pool and hot tubs, complete with bar, day beds, panoramic ocean views and the Solarium Bistro.
Suite Sun Deck – Tucked away in the exclusive suites district, the pool offers a bird’s-eye view of the sea in a private oasis with sun loungers, lounge chairs, umbrellas and more.
To round out vacation memories, vacationers will find record-breaking thrills around every corner. From the most adrenaline-pumping Ultimate Abyss ever, now even longer than on the sister ships, to a 10-story zip line, to the signature FlowRider surf simulator and miniature golf at the AquaDunes, to finally Utopia Playscape for young children – there’s adventure for everyone board.
A journey around the world of flavors

Immersive Culinary Experience – Combining multiple courses, technologies, and diverse destinations and storylines, the new, one-of-a-kind experience, to be unveiled by Royal Caribbean at a later date, is an immersive journey that engages all of the senses.
Izumi, the Japanese restaurant
Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar – The newly designed favorite bar with authentic Italian dishes now occupies two floors and extends to the new outdoor terrace – Gio’s Terrazza – overlooking the characteristic promenade.
Other well-known favorites include The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar, where live country music complements Southern classics; the Windjammer offers hundreds of dishes and flavors for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner – all inspired by Royal Caribbean’s international chefs; hooked seafood; and Chop’s cricket.
In addition, guests will find great bars, the Casino Royale, the Royal Theater and the AquaTheater on board.
